Following community consultation on the design concept for a new mixed recreation space in Bennett Park in late 2022, additional investigations were undertaken at the site.

Through these investigations, we found that some of the features proposed in the design concept would not be possible within the project budget.

We are currently working on a revised design for the mixed recreation space which will include:

• replacing the existing playspace with a new and larger playspace with equipment for children of all ages to enjoy.
• a new mini pump track with beginner and intermediate features.
• new pathways, seating, shade, tree planting and landscaping.
