Penrith City Council is upgrading Boronia Dog Park in North St Marys to better cater to the needs of residents and their dogs. We are committed to ensuring our local off-leash dog parks are safe and usable.

A key feature of the upgrade is new fenced off-leash areas for small and large dogs to give dogs of all sizes the opportunity to exercise and socialise without anxiety. These areas will be secured by an air-locked double gate.

The draft design also includes:

  • dog-friendly drinking fountains
  • waste bag dispensers
  • bins
  • accessible seating with shelter
  • pathways, and
  • shrubs and tree planting.

This project is being funded by Council and the NSW Government through the Community Building Partnership program.

Community consultation is now closed. Thank you to everyone who shared their feedback and ideas!
