A vibrant new mural inspired by local young people has transformed an 11-metre wall at the Youth Zone in Gipps Street Recreation Precinct.

The colourful artwork was shaped by ideas shared by young people aged 12 to 24 from across Penrith, who contributed their thoughts on themes, colours and styles earlier this year.

Local artists Daniel Walton and Scott Nagy used this feedback to create the final design, which features a mix of bold colours, native animals and sporting elements that reflect the energy and character of the precinct.

Community members are invited to visit the Youth Zone at Gipps Street Recreation Precinct to see the new mural and experience the colourful addition to the Youth Zone.
