Road works will be undertaken on the Great Western Highway between River Road and Billington Place, Emu Plains, from 7:00pm on Friday 25 August 2023 until 5:00am on Monday 28 August 2023.

• This section of the Great Western Highway will be temporarily reduced to one lane of traffic in each direction on the eastbound side of the road to allow for these works to be completed, which are part of the Regatta Park project.
• Traffic controllers will be in place at the Great Western Highway and River Road intersection, and the Great Western Highway and Billington Place intersection to direct traffic throughout the scheduled works. Traffic lights at these intersections will be inactive active during this time.
• The speed limit will be reduced to 40kms per hour and signage will be in place as part of the traffic management plan.
• Resident access in and out of Lamrock Street will be maintained.
• The footpath on the northern side of the Great Western Highway will remain open for pedestrians.
• Works will be conducted throughout the evenings. We will endeavour to conduct high noise works during the day and will be working to minimise any disruption as much as possible.
