Factory Road shared path project on track

19 August 2025

Significant progress has been made on the construction of a new shared path along Factory Road, Regentville.

Council engaged Convil Group to deliver the project, who kicked off construction in July 2025.

Large sections of the new 3-metre-wide path have been laid along the northern side of the road and drainage works have begun.

Work is also underway to construct a footpath from the intersection of Factory Road and Bundarra Road, down to the car park at the end of Factory Road.

Meanwhile, the finishing touches are being made to connecting footpaths along Loftus and Spencer Streets, and two new raised crossings have been installed at the intersections of Spencer Street and Gibbes Street, and Spencer Street and Loftus Street.

Pedestrian crossing signage will be installed, and line marking and lighting upgrades will be undertaken soon.
