The Factory Road shared path project is on track to be completed by the end of the year.

• A new footpath running from the corner of Factory Road and Bundarra Road to Factory Road Reserve is complete.
• Pathways along Spencer Street and Loftus Street are almost finished, with some minor work and line marking still to be completed.
• Two pedestrian crossings have been built along Spencer Street.

Now, we are working on:

• Installing drainage, kerb and guttering along Factory Road.
• Building a retaining wall along Cross Street before the path is laid.

What’s still to come?

• Two raised pedestrian crossings along Factory Road, at the Bundarra Road and Loftus Street intersections.
• Road pavement improvements.
• Lighting at pedestrian crossings.
• Tree planting and landscaping.
