Council adopts Neighbourhood Action Plan

25 August 2026

Penrith City Council has adopted the Cranebrook Neighbourhood Action Plan 2024-2028, outlining a clear direction for strengthening connections, wellbeing and opportunities in Cranebrook over the next two years.

Developed through extensive community engagement, the plan reflects the aspirations and priorities of residents, local organisations and community partners.

More than 1,680 people participated in the engagement process, helping to shape 15 actions across four focus areas:

  • Connection to First Nations culture
  • Place-based sector coordination
  • Recreation and activities
  • Safety and belonging

Thank you to everyone who attended community events, participated in activities and provided feedback to help shape the plan.

We look forward to continuing to work with residents, community organisations and government agencies to implement the plan and deliver positive outcomes for the Cranebrook community.
