Following on from the conclusion of the Public Exhibition and Agency consultation, this matter was reported to Penrith City Council’s Ordinary Meeting of 24 May 2021 for consideration, where Council resolved to endorse the Planning Proposal, draft Development Control Plan and Voluntary Planning Agreement offer.

The Voluntary Planning Agreement was executed by Council and the proponent on 13 September 2021. The amendment to Penrith Local Environmental Plan 2010 took effect on 17 December 2021 and the amendment to Penrith Development Control Plan 2014 took effect on 23 December 2021. The project has now progressed to the next phase of undertaking an architectural design competition, and then lodgement of a Development Application.

As part of that process the public will notified of the application and would be provided with the opportunity to consider and make submissions on the proposal.
