Final design for Henry Brigden Park playspace revealed

Render of new playspace design

The playspace in Henry Brigden Park will undergo an exciting upgrade next year, with the final design now complete.

Council consulted with the community to find out what they want to see in their new playspace and used this feedback to develop the design.

We heard that the community wants a range of modern play equipment for a variety of ages and abilities. A selection of swinging, sliding, climbing and imaginative play equipment has been included in the design, as these were the most requested types of equipment.

Shade, picnic tables and seating are important to the community, so we’ve included a shaded picnic table, bench seat, tree planting to provide natural shade, and we will retain the existing shade sail. Softfall and new pathways are also included in the design.

This project is funded by the NSW Government through the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants Program.
