Explorers Way and Henley Grove Reserve playspace in St Clair has been given an upgrade with new play equipment, seating, pathways and landscaping.

Two draft design concepts were shared with the community for feedback in September 2022. Key features of the favoured design include a net climber, slide, three swings including a basket swing, and an inclusive rocker.

A play shop front, sensory panel, picnic table, seating, water bubbler and pathways were also installed.

The existing shade sail was retained as part of the upgrade.

This project is part of Council’s commitment to upgrade 40 playspaces over a five-year period between 2019-2024, to ensure they are modern and inclusive for current and future residents.
