The Dunheved Road upgrade is a step closer, and safer, more reliable and efficient travel is on the horizon for users of Dunheved Road, with Penrith City Council now seeking a contractor to deliver the project.

Tenders are invited until 24 July 2024 via vendorpanel.com.

The upgrade is set to overhaul the congested corridor between Richmond Road and the Christie Street/Werrington Road roundabout by adding extra lanes, delivering key intersection upgrades, and building new active transport links.

Construction is expected to start in early 2025.
