Council has secured grant funding from the NSW Government under its 2023/24 Floodplain Management Program to undertake a comprehensive flood study for the Claremont Creek Catchment.

The Claremont Creek catchment includes parts of Claremont Meadows, Orchard Hills, Caddens and Kingswood.

If your property is located within the study area and has experienced flooding, we invite you to complete our survey and share your local knowledge and experience.

By doing so, you will help us to update our existing flood information and plan for, predict and manage the risk of flooding across the catchment.

To prepare the study, Council has engaged an independent consultant specialising in flooding investigations, Catchment Simulation Solutions Pty Ltd.

In addition to this survey, we welcome your feedback on the Claremont Creek Flood Study via email to David Tetley, Director at Catchment Simulation Solutions, at: david.tetley@csse.com.au.

The questionnaire should only take about 10 minutes to complete. Please try to answer as many questions as you can and give as much detail as possible.

Submissions close: 5pm, Thursday 6 March 2025.
