The Draft Peach Tree and Lower Surveyors Creeks Floodplain Risk Management Study and Plan is being prepared by engineering consultants Catchment Simulation Solutions and is on public exhibition from Thursday 27 February to Thursday 27 March 2025.
The study area covers 12.5 square kilometres including the suburbs of South Penrith, Jamisontown and parts of Penrith – roughly bounded by Nepean River to the west, M4 Motorway to the south and The Northern Road to the east.
The study is overseen by the Penrith Floodplain Risk Management Committee and is receiving financial and technical support from the State Government under the Floodplain Management Program.
Your feedback about the draft study is invaluable to help us update our existing flood information and plan for, predict and manage the risk of flooding across the catchment.
