As well as providing a variety of books, media and information resources, our libraries help with generalised and specialised information and local history enquiries, internet access, digital assistance, promotional activities, programs, and events.
We provide these services through our branch libraries at Penrith, St Marys and St Clair, our Home Library, Toy Library, Pop-Up Library, our Research Room and our online catalogue which is available 24/7 via our library app.
Penrith City Council is about to embark on developing a new five-year plan for our library services. We need your help to ensure we are delivering services and programs that continue to meet the needs of our community.
We need your help
To help research what the community wants, and also what new models of library services are available, Penrith City Council is working with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS).
To have your say in the future of your library services, please complete this survey.
The survey will take less than 10 minutes and is anonymous. No personal details will be gathered, and the information will only be used to help Penrith City Council with its library plan.
The survey is open until Friday 3 June 2022.
You are also invited to come to a public workshop to discuss the future of our libraries and services.
The workshops will be held at Penrith Library on Monday 30 May at 6pm and St Marys Library on Thursday 2 June at 10am. Please book your attendance via Eventbrite or call 4732 7891.
